BOOKMARKS: How to Backup Website Bookmarks

Follow these steps to manually backup your website bookmarks.

NOTE: You can also quickly open the Bookmark Manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+O on your keyboard.

For Google Chrome:

1. In your Google Chrome, select the “three-dots” on the top-right (called "menu" icon) along your website address bar. Select “Bookmarks” then choose “Bookmark Manager” in the drop-down box.

2. In the Bookmarks Manager, select the “menu” icon and choose “Export Bookmarks”.

3. Save your bookmarks file in your “Documents” folder so it can be backed up into OneDrive.

For Microsoft Edge:

1. In Microsoft Edge, select the “star” icon on the top-right along your website address bar. This is the bookmark manager for this browser called “Favorites”.
2. In the Favorites box, select the “three-dots” icon (labeled “more options”) then choose “Export favorites” in the pop-up box.

3. Save your bookmarks file in your “Documents” folder so it can be backed up into OneDrive.
