Imagine Language & Literacy: Benchmark Reporting Guide
Imagine Language and Literacy, the Benchmark Report updates hourly and can be used to identify changes in student performance between Benchmark Tests, and to help predict expected student performance on state-level assessments.
Note: Imagine Language & Literacy will be purchased at the campus level and is not part of a district initiative.

How to review results from Placement Test or Benchmark Test

Teacher Role:
- Log in to the Literacy Suite.
- If you have more than one group, click the group for which you want to view Placement Test or Benchmark Test results.
- Click the Growth widget or click Growth in the Dashboard drop-down menu.
- To review test results for an individual student, click the student's name.
If your student has not started a test or is completing at test, you'll see their testing status in the column for that test. For detailed information about each status, check the Status information below the table.
5. Once your student has completed a test, you'll see two scores: a Literacy score and an Oral Vocabulary score. You'll also see the date when the student started and finished the test, and any year-to-date composite change in their scores. Compare your students' scores with the Literacy and Oral Vocabulary grade-level ranges shown below the table.

Administrator Role
- Log in to the Literacy Suite.
- Click the Growth widget or click Growth in the dashboard dropdown menu.
- To review test results for an individual school, class, or student, drill down by clicking the School, Class, or Student name.
- Choose the Grade, Curriculum Area, and Testing Time Periods that you want to review results for. In the Curriculum Area drop-down list, you can choose to view Literacy or Oral Vocabulary scores. In the Testing Time Periods drop-down list, you can choose to view student results from individual test periods (such as Beginning-of-Year or End-of-Year) or you can view results for multiple test periods together (such as Beginning-of-Year and Middle-of-Year).
- Click Gains to see results for the Placement Test and Benchmark Test for each testing period, including the most recent Benchmark Test score and Lexile range. You can also see the year-to-date changes in Benchmark Test performance for the school, class, or student that you're reviewing.
- Click Performance Level to see which students are working above, on, or below grade level based on their Benchmark Test scores and grade-level Lexile targets. You can see the number of students, as well as the percentage of students in your district, school, or class, that are performing above, on, or below grade level.
