Support: How to Request Technology Support for Students and Families
Students and families can request technology support online from the Help Center.

How to access the Help Center:
Access the IDEA Homepage from any Web Browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge)
- Go to: https://ideapublicschools.org
- Click on ACCESS STUDENT TECHNOLOGY
From the Student Technology page
- Scroll down
- Click on REQUEST TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Fill out the form using the example below and click SUBMIT
What to write in your request form:
Email: Use the email address of a parent/guardian
Subject: Describe the problem you are having. See example below
Correct: I cannot log into Clever
Incorrect: I cannot log in
Student First and Last Name: Cara Dune
Student ID: Use student's ID number (108000000)
Call Back Number: It is important that the campus technician be able to make contact. As such, be sure to put a number where the student/guardian can be easily reached.
The campus technician will follow up by text message, phone call, email, TEAMS message or Remind depending on the issue or response from the student/guardian.
- If the technician calls and there is no answer, a voicemail will be left and a text will be sent.
- If there is no a response to the text/phone call, TEAMS or Remind will be used to contact the scholar/guardian.
Description:
- Type a description of the issue you are having.
- Give as many details as possible, this will help the Zendesk agent to fix the issue.
Correct: I cannot log into Clever.
Incorrect: I cannot log in.
