Staff Accounts: Claim your new IDEA account
All IDEA Public Schools employees will receive access to the correct systems and applications for their role using their staff email and password.
BEFORE YOUR FIRST DAY OF WORK: Please take 5 minutes to claim your IDEA Staff Account and practice logging in using the steps below.
You will use your IDEA Staff account credentials daily to login to your staff laptop (if applicable) and access critical software applications.
- BEFORE YOU BEGIN: Check your personal email account for a message titled "Idea Public Schools User Account Information" containing your unique link and claim code.
STEP 1: Click the unique link in your email to claim your account.
- When the My Account window opens (in Chrome, Edge or Safari) Enter your IDEA Email, Birth Date and Claim Code as shown below.
- IDEA Email: first.last@ideapublicschools.org
- Birth Date: YYYY-MM-DD
- Claim Code: use the 5 digit code in your email
- Check “I’m not a robot” then, click Next.
STEP 2: Update Your Password
- Your new Password must be at least 8 Characters long and meet three of the following criteria:
- 1 Uppercase Character
- 1 Lowercase Character
- 1 Numeric character base 10 digits (0 through 9)
- 1 Non-alphanumeric character: ~!@#$%^&*_- +=’|\(){}[]<>,.?/
STEP 3: Set your password questions.
You will be asked to set up your 3 challenge questions. Pick 3 questions to answer from the list shown in the image below
STEP 4: Enroll in DUO Two-Factor Authentication.
STEP 5: Practice logging in with your new credentials starting with the 5 links below.
- The HUB IDEA Public Schools staff intranet (internal website). Check here for important news and to access all applications and resources throughout the year.
- Microsoft 365 & Outlook As part of our staff you have access to the entire Microsoft Office productivity suite. From the HUB click on the (add icon) waffle icon in the top left corner, then click on Outlook to check your staff email.
- Frontline Here you can Clock-in and Out (for hourly roles), request time off, and/or request a substitute teacher (if applicable)
- Tyler Munis Self-Service This is where you can view your payroll information, W2 Forms, Check History, submit legal name changes, and update your preferred name.
- Help Desk Support Click on the support link on the bottom right corner of The HUB at anytime to access the Help Center or request support.
