Teams Insights: Add Class Insights to your Team
Class Insights is a data analytics app now available to add to your Team. Class Insights collects student activity in Teams, like grades, assignment turn-in, and conversation activity. Class Insights creates an analytics dashboard transforming student data into easy to act on visuals. HOW-TO Add Class Insights to a class
Add the Insights app to individual classes in Microsoft Teams
1.Click the + to add a new Tab to the General channel of your class team
2.Search for “Insights”
3.Click the Insights app icon and select Add to a team

4.Since students do not have access to this app uncheck the option to Post to the channel, then click Save
5.Access your Insights dashboard by selecting the Insights tab in your class channel.

Add the Insights app to your Microsoft Teams account to view data for all-classes.
In Teams
1. On the left side, click the . . .More added apps icon.
2.Search for “Insights”
3.Click the Insights app icon and select Add.
4. You can now click on Insights from the left side of your Teams window. Here you will view a data view for all of your classes and be able to go into each class to explore Insights deeper.
