PowerSchool Parent: HOW-TO Create and Sign-in To Your Account
To ensure you can easily access your child’s grades, attendance, and student information, IDEA Public Schools is providing each parent/guardian with a personalized parent account in PowerSchool. After creating an account, you can see all of your student’s information in one place!
Create and Sign-in to Your Account
On any Web Browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox)
1. Go to the PowerSchool Student and Parent Sign in page for your State.
2. Click Create Account
3. Enter the following information in the Parent Account Details

First Name

Last Name
-
Email (one email to which you would like to receive notifications)
-
Desired Username
-
Password (must be at least 8 characters long)
-
Re-enter Password
-
4. Enter the following information to Link Students to Account.

Student Name
-
Access ID (This is a unique access code. Please contact your student's campus for this information)
-
Access Password (This is a unique password. Please contact your student's campus for this information)
-
Relationship to student
-
5. Add all of your students.
6. Click Enter. The Parent Sign In page will appear.
7. Sign in using your new PowerSchool Parent Username and Password.
