Teams: Log in and Get started in Teams for Students

Log in on any Web Browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) 

1. Go to: https://teams.microsoft.com 

2. Enter your IDEA Student Username: StudentID#@ideastudent.org

   • Example: 10800034@ideastudent.org 

3. Click Next

4. Enter your IDEA Student Password:  Idea + Student DOB (MMDDYY)

   • Example: If your birthday is March 14, 2005 your password is Idea031405

5. Click Sign In

6. Stay signed in? Click Yes

   

Find your Classes in Teams for Web or Desktop 

1. On the left side

2. Click the Teams icon

3. View All of your Teams

4. Select a Class Team

   

Log in on the Mobile App

1. Download the Teams App here https://products.office.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app

• • Recommended for mobile uses download Office 365 app (includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and more) here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/mobile 

2. Launch the Teams App on your device.

3. Click Sign In

4. Enter your IDEA Student Username: StudentID@ideastudent.org

• • Example: Idea031495

5. Click Sign In

6. Enter your IDEA Student Password:  Idea + Student DOB (MMDDYY)

• • Example: 10800034@ideastudent.org

7. Click Sign In

Find your Classes in the Teams App 

1. On the bottom bar

2. Click the Teams icon

3. Select a Class Team
